Hydraulic gear pumps are simple in structure and widely used hydraulic power components. Proper use can significantly improve their lifespan and system reliability.

Core Usage Tips: Oil Selection and Management

Oil Specifications: Only use dedicated hydraulic oil, such as No. 10 or No. 20 machine oil, or a similar type of hydraulic oil (such as transformer oil). Do not use ordinary gear oil, engine oil, or diesel oil, as this will lead to severe wear or failure.

Oil Temperature Control: The operating oil temperature should ideally be maintained between 10℃ and 40℃, and should not exceed 70℃. Do not start the pump at low temperatures (such as below freezing) to avoid excessively high oil viscosity leading to cavitation or damage.

Oil Cleaning: The oil tank must be dustproof, and the oil must be filtered (a filtration accuracy of approximately 25μm is recommended). Filter the oil monthly and clean the oil tank regularly.
