Key Components Of Solenoid Directional Valve
Coil: The coil is commonly made from insulated copper wire. When a current is applied to the coil, an electromagnetic field forms around the cross-section.
Electrical Connection: The coil is connected to an interface with an electrical drive circuit and power source. Each coil typically has two connections: one to the power source and one to ground.
Bobbin: The coil wire is commonly wrapped around a structural piece called a bobbin. The bobbin helps to hold the wire in the desired position to create a specific magnetic field.

Installation Precautions for Solenoid Directional Valve
1. Check the valve voltage to ensure it matches supply voltage
2. Install the valve in line with the flow direction matching what is marked on the valve. All solenoid valves have a direction of flow to work properly, this will be marked on the body of the valve. Make sure your supply pressure is isolated before installation.
3. Try to install the solenoid valve so it is upright (coil at the top). They will work in any direction but it is best practice to have it upright if possible.
