If the medium is highly corrosive, highly corrosion-resistant materials such as engineering plastics or duplex stainless steel should be used, paired with fluorocarbon rubber (FKM) or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seals.

The material and processing methods of the pump's core components determine its durability. High-quality gears undergo heat treatments such as nitriding and carburizing to achieve a surface hardness of HRC 58 or higher, thereby providing superior wear resistance and fatigue strength. Regarding housing materials, ductile iron offers higher strength than gray iron, while pump bodies sintered using powder metallurgy processes significantly extend service life due to their wear resistance and low-noise characteristics.

 

IV. Brand, Acceptance, and Maintenance

 

Selecting a brand with a good market reputation and mature technology is a key guarantee of reliability. Currently, domestic brands such as Hengli Hydraulics and Yuci Hydraulics have fully met the performance and cost-effectiveness requirements of the mid-to-low-end market, while imported brands still hold an advantage in high-precision and high-tech fields. Prior to acceptance, request that the supplier provide performance test reports conducted in accordance with national standards such as GB/T 7935, focusing on indicators such as volumetric efficiency, sealing performance, and vibration and noise levels. During installation, ensure the coupler is coaxial to prevent eccentric wear.
