What is the pilot pressure required to open the Z2S Series pilot operated check valve?
It depends on the pilot ratio and the pressure trapped on the B port. For a 3:1 ratio, pilot pressure = (trapped pressure × 0.33) + spring setting. Typically 10–30 bar is sufficient.
What is the leakage rate in the closed position?
Zero measurable leakage with metal seat (better than 5 drops per minute for soft seal). Compliant with ISO 6403.
Are OEM modifications available (different pilot ratio, special coating)?
Yes. Just email your drawing and specifications. We can adjust pilot ratio (2:1 to 6:1), add zinc-nickel plating, or supply with Viton seals for high temperature.
What is the warranty period?
12 months against B/L date. We also provide technical support beyond warranty.
