3P40 Hydraulic Valve Three Levers

Working Principle

The 3P40 features an open-center, parallel circuit design-a standard configuration in the fields of agricultural machinery and mobile equipment-making it ideal for applications requiring the simultaneous execution of multiple functions.

Neutral Position:When all three control levers are in the center position, the flow output from the hydraulic pump passes directly through the valve body and returns to the oil tank, thereby minimizing pressure loss.

Single-Circuit Operation:Actuating any one of the control levers causes its corresponding spool to shift, directing the flow from inlet port P to either port A or port B of that specific circuit; simultaneously, the opposite port of that circuit connects to the return line (port T).

Spring Return:All spools are designed with an automatic spring-centering mechanism. Once a control lever is released, it automatically returns to the neutral position, thereby halting the movement of the actuator (such as a hydraulic cylinder or motor).

Parallel Circuitry:The three spools share a common parallel circuit system, allowing each functional circuit to operate either independently or simultaneously in coordination with the others.
