What Makes the SD11 Different

Every valve in our lineup has a reason for existing. The SD11 exists because 75 L/min at 315 bar is a combination that comes up often in certain types of equipment - and because the port sizes match what those machines already use.

The SD11 is sectional, not monoblock. That means it's built from individual sections bolted together. You can add or remove sections as your machine changes. If you start with three functions and later need five, you don't replace the whole valve - you add two sections.

The sections themselves are the same basic design as the SD8. Same spool, same springs, same detent mechanism. The difference is the flow rating and the porting.

Practical Details

The 75 L/min Flow Rate

There's nothing magic about 75 L/min. It's simply a rating that sits between the smaller monoblock valves and the larger DCV series. Some machines don't need 80 or 100 L/min - they need 75, and that's what this one delivers.

At 315 bar, it's enough pressure for most mid-range hydraulic systems. Not the 350 bar of the bigger DCV valves, but not the 250 bar of the smaller SD5 either.

Leakage

15 cc/min at 160 bar, 50°C. Same spec as everything else we make. The spool-to-bore clearance is held to the same standard across all our products. We don't loosen the tolerance just because a valve has a lower flow rating.

Surface Protection

Phosphating. It's not paint - it's a chemical coating that bonds with the steel. If the valve gets bumped, the coating stays put. Passes 48-hour salt spray.

The Porting

G3/4 on P and T. G1/2 on A and B. If these are the sizes your system uses, the SD11 bolts in with standard fittings. If not, you'll need adapters or a different valve.

How It Works

The lever connects directly to the spool. Move the lever, the spool slides, oil redirects.

When the spool shifts, high-pressure oil from the P port goes to either A or B. The cylinder extends or retracts. Oil from the opposite side of the cylinder goes back to the tank through T. Let go of the lever, springs center the spool, everything stops.

It's mechanical. No wires, no sensors, no delays.

The valve stack is made of sections. An inlet section with the P and T ports. Working sections - one for each function - each with its own spool, springs, and detent. An outlet section caps the end. Through-bolts run the length of the stack and hold everything tight.
