The DCV100 is a sectional directional control valve. It belongs in heavy-duty hydraulic systems - large excavators, mobile cranes, hydraulic presses, ship steering gear, and heavy material handling equipment. Its job is to direct oil flow from the pump to the actuators and back. But the scale is different from smaller valves. This valve handles 100 L/min nominal flow and 350 bar operating pressure.

1. High flow capacity

It handles 100 L/min nominal flow. At that rate, you are moving enough oil to run large-bore cylinders and high-torque motors at productive speeds. The valve is designed to pass that flow with acceptable pressure drop, so the system does not overheat during sustained operation.

2. Modular sectional construction

The valve is sectional - individual sections bolt together on tie rods. You choose 1 to 12 sections at order. If a section fails, you replace that section, not the whole valve. If your machine configuration changes, you can reconfigure the valve accordingly. This modular approach reduces downtime and spare parts inventory.

3. Multiple control options

You can specify manual lever, electric actuation, electro-hydraulic pilot, or solenoid control. The same valve section accepts all four types. This lets you standardize on one valve family across machines with different control requirements - from simple hand-operated equipment to fully automated systems with PLC integration.

4.Low internal leakage

Internal leakage is held to 15 cc/min at 160 bar and 50°C. That is a tight specification for a valve of this size. Lower leakage means less cylinder drift when the spool is in neutral, less oil bypass, and less heat generation. The valve holds position reliably without wasting pump flow.

The DCV100 is the highest capacity model. Higher pressure (350 bar), higher flow (100 L/min), sectional construction (vs. monoblock), more sections (up to 12), and multiple control options.
If you are working on a 30-ton excavator or large mobile crane, the DCV100 is the relevant product. If you are working on a smaller machine, the P40 or P80 may be more appropriate.

Installation considerations

 

Sectional valves are heavier and longer than monoblock valves. Check the dimensional drawing to confirm fit in your machine's valve compartment.

Mount the valve on a rigid surface. Vibration affects mounting bolts. Use lock washers or thread-locking compound on the mounting bolts.

Connect inlet and outlet lines to the correct ports. Sectional valves have an inlet section and outlet section. Oil enters the inlet section, passes through the working sections, and exits through the outlet section.

1. What control options are available for the DCV100?

Four options: manual lever, electric actuation, electro-hydraulic pilot, and solenoid (including proportional solenoid). The same valve section accepts all four types - we change the end cover and spool extension. Manual is standard; the others are available upon request.

2. What makes DCV100 different from P40 or P80?

The DCV100 is a sectional valve rated at 350 bar and 100 L/min. The P40 and P80 are monoblock valves rated at 250/315 bar and 40/80 L/min. The sectional construction allows up to 12 sections and multiple control options. It is built for larger machines and higher pressure applications.

3. Can I configure the valve myself - choose sections, spool types, and control types?

Yes. The sections are modular. We machine and assemble according to your specifications. Section count, spool type, spring configuration, control method, and relief setting are all decided at order.

4. Can I add or remove sections after delivery?

No. Changing section count later requires disassembling the valve, which is possible but time-consuming. If you expect future expansion, we recommend ordering extra sections and capping unused ones.

5. What is phosphating treatment, and why is it important?

Phosphating is a chemical conversion coating applied to the steel surface. It provides corrosion resistance and improves surface hardness. The 48-hour neutral salt spray test confirms the protection level. It is more durable than paint for internal valve surfaces.
